Why we built it
Ecommerce asks customers to figure it out themselves.
A customer arrives at your store knowing roughly what they want. They search, scroll, filter, read descriptions, open tabs, compare prices, and eventually either buy or give up. The store is passive. It waits to be navigated.
That's fine for customers who know exactly what they're looking for. It doesn't work for the ones who need a question answered, a comparison explained, a recommendation they can trust, or help after the order ships.
We built Kn8 because we believe the store should be the one that reaches out — not the customer who has to dig. The Storefront Agent is how that happens.
What it does

Before the sale, the Storefront Agent understands what each customer is looking for — in their own words — and narrows your catalog to the right products. It explains the real differences between options, recommends what goes together, and guides customers from discovery to checkout without friction.
At the sale, it handles the last mile. Variant selection, sizing questions, compatibility checks, shipping questions. The things that send customers to your support inbox instead of your checkout.
After the sale, it's still there. Order status, return requests, product questions from customers who already bought — the agent handles them the same way it handled the sale: inside your store, with real data, immediately.
And because it knows the customer's history, it recommends and upsells in a way that feels natural — not algorithmic. The right moment, the right product, grounded in what the customer actually needs.
The approach

Every other AI ecommerce tool puts a chat window next to your store. The customer talks to the AI. The AI responds. The customer then has to go act on what it said — find the product, add it to cart, figure out checkout. The AI is an advisor standing outside the door.
Kn8 instruments your existing storefront so the agent works from inside it.
